UTI Mutual Fund
UTI Mutual Fund descends from the Unit Trust of India, which was effectively the whole Indian mutual fund industry from 1963 until private managers were allowed in. It was carved out as a SEBI-registered fund house in 2003, is listed on the exchanges, and is held by SBI, LIC, Bank of Baroda, PNB and T. Rowe Price rather than a single parent.
