Our league table of rank changes puts this beside the other houses.
An equity-led range, with no big liquid fund
The house has 51 schemes in Direct Growth: 20 equity, 14 debt, 6 hybrid, 5 index, 4 fund-of-funds and 2 solution-oriented. The largest by average assets in July–September 2026:
| Scheme | Average AUM (₹ crore) |
|---|---|
| Balanced Advantage | 5,204 |
| Multi Cap | 3,426 |
| Large Cap | 2,601 |
| Mid Cap | 2,597 |
| Large & Mid Cap | 1,831 |
| Multi Asset | 1,464 |
| India Consumption | 1,434 |
| Small Cap | 1,294 |
| Flexi Cap | 1,250 |
The biggest scheme is a hybrid, not a liquid fund. Half of the 20 equity funds are sectoral or thematic, and the Consumption fund, at ₹1,434 crore, is the biggest of them.
How the core equity and hybrid funds rank
Direct Growth returns to 16 October 2026; rank is among Direct Growth funds in the same category with that much history.
| Fund | 1 year | 3 years | 3-year rank | Direct TER | Category median |

| Large & Mid Cap | −1.23% | 12.87% | 11 of 26 | 1.09% | 1.08% |
| Multi Cap | −1.56% | 13.09% | 12 of 23 | 1.19% | 0.96% |
| Small Cap | 7.49% | 12.85% | 16 of 26 | 1.20% | 0.90% |

| Focused | −7.29% | 7.88% | 25 of 27 | 1.18% | 1.09% |
| Value | −4.57% | 7.79% | 20 of 21 | 1.33% | 1.24% |
The best results are in the largest and cheapest funds. Balanced Advantage is fourth of 30 over three years, and over five years it is fourth of 21 at 9.74%. The Large Cap fund is seventh of 30 over three and fifth of 33 over one, at a fee 0.18 points under the median. Its Mid Cap fund charges 0.16 below the median and is sixth of 31 over one year, though 18th of 29 over three.
The weak spots are the fee-heavy ones. Small Cap, Flexi Cap and Multi Cap charge 0.23 to 0.34 points above their medians, and rank between 12th and 19th. The Value fund is 20th of 21 over three years, the Focused fund 25th of 27. Our comparisons of mid cap and multi cap funds show how these sit against rivals.
The thematic half
| Thematic fund | 1 year | Rank among 232 |
|---|---|---|
| Innovation | 6.18% | 58 |
| Manufacturing | 6.13% | 60 |
| Health and Wellness | 5.84% | 63 |
| Business Cycle | 0.01% | 114 |
| Banking and Financial Services | −1.67% | 136 |
| Energy Opportunities | −3.13% | 153 |
| Business Conglomerates | −5.80% | 187 |
| India Consumption | −9.32% | 220 |
Services and ESG have no one-year record yet. Only three of the ten have a three-year record: Banking and Financial Services (13.41%, 70th of 142), Business Cycle (11.99%, 79th) and India Consumption (8.37%, 111th). That is an unproven group, and our look at sectoral and thematic risk covers why those funds swing more.
What the numbers do not tell you
One year is short for thematic funds. Seven of the ten have less than three years of history, so their ranks may move a lot.
Medians include all fund houses. A fee 0.2 points under the median is a gap to the middle fund, not to the cheapest.
Hybrid ranks are in small groups. Conservative Hybrid is second of 17 over one year, but seventh of 17 over three.
None of this is a recommendation to buy or sell any fund.
