What is Potential Risk Class?
Also known as PRC matrix
A 3×3 cell for debt schemes: credit risk (A low, B moderate, C high) against interest-rate risk (I low, II moderate, III high).
Mandatory since December 2021. It states the MAXIMUM risk the scheme may take, not where its portfolio sits today — an A-I scheme can never hold low-rated or long-duration paper; a C-III scheme may, but need not. Moving to a riskier cell requires unitholder consent.
For the formula and the constants behind this figure, see Methodology.
